Edwards has most to lose in SC debate
Then there’s former U.S. Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina, who needs to do more to downplay his image of being so rich that he doesn’t understand Middle America, Shaw said.“He needs to tap more into the black vote, and explain to them why they should vote for him,” Shaw said.
Woodard said Edwards has the most to lose Monday night because he’s in his home state, and he ran for president in 2004. There is a feeling that the public may get tired of him as a candidate if he doesn’t start making his presence known more.
